Russian Lighting Design Awards 2018. Summary

On November, 7, 2018 during the Interlight Moscow Exhibition powered by light+building the winners of the Russian Lighting Design Awards were announced. The Award Ceremony took place at the Interlight Design Academy grounds. The winners were presented with the prizes by the representatives of the exhibition, the organizing committee and the award panel.

This year the winners run as follows:

In category «Design of outdoor lighting: the best completed projects»

• The winner is - «Controllable colour and dynamic lighting system development for Kommunal’ny bridge in Krasnoyarsk», by ILEC BL GROUP;
• II prize - «Architectural and artistic lighing for the RTRS TV tower, Perm, by IntiLED company, in cooperation with ElPromEnergo Group of Companies;
• III prize - «Nizhegorodskaya Yarmarka» (The Fairgrounds of Nizhny Novgorod), Tsentr Tekhnicheskogo Sveta company.

In category «Design of interior lighting: the best completed projects»

• The winner is – "The lighting of Kashirskaya Plaza Shopping mall", Tochka Opory company;
• II prize «Biodynamic lighting in “Pavlovsky” Business centre », Sergey Sizyiy and Elena Bokova, LiDS Lighting Design Studio;
• III prize «"Mescherin" Business Centre», KA2 Light Architecture.

In category «Design of a luminaire: the Best completed projects»

• The winner is - «Cloud», «Kubometr Sveta» LLC;
• II prize - «"Applause" Hanging lamp», Shvets Alexander Sergeevich;
• III prize - «Bionic portal», «Haptic.team».

In category «Design of outdoor lighting: the best Design concepts»

• The winner is - «Holocaust victims Memorial», Kondrashov Maksim Aleksandrovich (Tambov State Technical University);
• II prize - «Architectural Light Art project for the building of Tomsk Polytechnic University», Sultanova Irina Yurievna (Tomsk Polytechnic University);
• III prize - «Light Design project for a residence in Moscow», Balashova Valentina, «PhiloLumiere» Studio.

In category «Design of interior lighting: the best Design concepts»

• The winner is - «Design concept for pedestrian tunnel near the Vyborgskaya metro station - Vyborgsky tunnel, Saint Petersburg, "BREATH OF LIGHT"», Vakhrova Daria, Lezhnina Alexandra (ITMO University);
• II prize - «Design concept for a fast food café lighting», Ponomarenko Karina , «Duplex Apartment Interior Solutions» studio;
• III prize «Anemones», Shpeter Yulia Vladimirovna, «Wonder Walls» Design Studio.

In category «Design of a luminaire: the Best Design concepts»

• The winner is - «"Crater" Luminaire», Vekovischev Andrei Valerievich;
• I prize «"Axis" Luminaire», Evgeniy Sobolev;
• III prize «"Beam" Luminaire», Muzhichkov Andrei Viktorovich.
